SENIOR village

At our senior program, we bring together elderly Iraqi refugees and immigrants together in order to provide them with a sense of community.

The main purpose of the village is to let the seniors feel their value, as most of them took an important place in their home country. Here in the village we are giving them a space to share their expertise, so the other elders can benefit from this experience. Also we are helping them to be independent persons by teaching them how to do simple daily needs like how to pay their bills and how to set their appointments. Also we are trying to create a complete community by asking elders to volunteer to help other seniors like giving a ride or visiting seniors at their home if necessary.

Program Eligibility Requirements:

Must be 55 or older

- Must live in King County.
