Iraqi Community Center of Washington serves,  Arabic speaking refugees in south King County.

Arabic School

Our Arabic School provides those who want to learn Arabic the opportunity to fine-tune their knowledge. Our classes are held weekly at Kent Meridian High School for our kids and youth.

ESL Class

Our ESL classes is provided in partnership with Highline College and it is open to all Immigrants and refugees.

Early Learning (PC+, Home Visits)

For our Home Visit program, we visit family in our community to provide them support. For these families, we are able to provide them:

1. Interaction with others in their community

2. Provide them with the support they need.

3. Recommend them to other resources in the community. 

Youth Program (After School Homework Help)

At our After School Program, we implement project-based learning to engage our students and inspire their creative imaginations. Our students are able to have a deeper understanding of real-world challenges and are encouraged to find solutions. We offer homework help, as well as help our students improve their literacy levels by using specialized reading lessons for each child. 

Women Support Group

At our Women's Support Program, we provide a safe space for women to come together. This program brings together women that encourage and inspire each other. women one another. At this program we provide:

1. Training and development of basic skills

2. Resume help

3. Education about resources in our community

Advocacy and Leadership Group

Our vision is focuses on families as the best advocates and leaders at home, in their children’s schools, in their neighborhood and community and in the larger society.  Civic Engagement is shaping the development of our children, programs.

We are empowering Arabic Community Leaders, to help fulfill a variety of missions to improve the lives of our thriving families by talking to local policy makers and state and federal political leaders about the values, hopes and challenges of our Community.

Senior Program

At our senior program, we bring together elderly Iraqi refugees and immigrants together in order to provide them with a sense of community.


Here at Iraqi Community Center of Washington, we provide support to those that are in need of housing support. We work with our clients to provide them with the financial security they need to make their housing payments.
